1
Spring and summer are the best seasons to propagate fiddle leaf fig branches
2
Assemble all tools before spreading. You'll need clean pruning shears, a sharp knife or scissors, a clean water bottle, and a rooting hormone.
3
Using your pruning shears, make a clean cut just below a leaf node on the selected branch.
4
Although not necessary, applying a rooting hormone can increase the chances of successful propagation
5
Fill a clean glass or container with water and place the cutting in it, making sure the cut end is submerged.
6
Be patient! It can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for roots to develop
7
Once the roots are about 1-2 inches long, it's time to plant your cutting
8
Place it in a bright location with indirect light, away from direct sunlight. Keep the soil slightly moist, but not overly saturated, and mist the leaves occasionally to provide humidity
